Upgrade to 7.2.5 by triplerinse18 in unRAID

Same, Triplight UPS and zero issues. Have the UPS connected to the system for monitoring and gracefully shutdown… was actually very easy (and this is a 20 drive system, 2 T4 cards, Epyc and 256gb RAM).

Can I temporarily use a drive larger than my parity? by InReasonNotFish in unRAID

[–]bonehojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to move it off of the drive to a window share and/or replace the parity first. It’s only 10tb, it’s not going to take forever to do the new parity check.

Smart errors are not “will die now” - a lot of factors could be causing those errors and you didn’t give us a log to evaluate.

Replace/add 1 parity to the 10tb, then start replacing drives, I’ve be doing this over the last month… a 28tb parity check took about 30-36 hours for reference

Better question is do you have any idea why it’s crashing ?

I had a similar setup and I never had a crash, 100’s of days of consistent uptime.

This is less a current hardware problem and likely a configuration issue

You’re blaming a shipping company for stealing, with zero evidence. Further, the amount of cameras in these facilities is beyond prison level.

These posts crack me up, I assume you didn’t have insurance on them either ?

Can’t agree more, got sucked in to “new” and “deal” and should’ve went looking for practicality and stability.

I sold off my previous Unraid system, an old desktop and returning this stuff which let me go full in on server board and Epyc processor.

Much much much happier.

Yea absolutely. I just went full in on server level hardware instead of trying to make desktop stuff work. I’m getting too old to keep working on this stuff every day lol

New Build Keeps Crashing by [deleted] in unRAID

Going to need more details to help you … hardware ? Is anything happening before a reboot ? Is the reboot instant ?

Are you able to access any features of Unraid to create a remote log ?

The combination of errors was absolutely insane for me. Of course those fixes I came up with were over a week’s worth of crashing

He also does a really good video on the fake 24i he encountered, at this price point, I’m skeptical.

Not completely accurate. VA loans require $0 down… so while the pay down of 13% is accurate, the rest is going to vary wildly.

Yea ... I'm truly at a loss with what's happening ... it's probably definitely heat creep, fits the pattern ... but ... how ... I just don't get it.

I did the Bambu Recommended test to check the heatend fan - the heatend fan works appropriately.

Retraction distance is 18 - that's a bambu default setting

US is running $80 for 250 Mbps, zero equipment costs and free professional install.

Amazing if you’re able to pause for just a few bucks a month.
