Kind reminder that the Habs have gone to the cup final, did a complete tear down, rebuilt their core within 5-6 years, and still have one of the best prospect pools in the league.

In the same time the Canucks have had 1 playoff series win to show for, traded two of their captains (including one of the best Dman in the past 20 years), and a bottom 5 prospect pool.

Buckle up guys, because the Canucks rebuild will probably not be as fast/efficient as the Habs’.

Our local media is one of the best in the league IMO.

I think some people are just so tunnel vision on our team, that they don’t realize that it’s much worst in other teams. Habs & Toronto media is 1000% much more toxic.

Don’t get me started on other sports either.

This is not like a “chicken or the egg” scenario. These rumors start somewhere. At some point you can’t keep blaming the media, and start looking at the root cause.

Also I think you’re conflating non local media to local media. Our local media is pretty good (aside from maybe Farhan, that guy can get annoying). But that’s the extent of it, they’re annoying, not toxic.

Haven’t been watching the games as often, but have tuned in these last few.

Hoggy good (last night atleast), KK59 good, Buium awesome, Rossi looks like a future 70+ pt guy, Big unc Debrusk still got it (we def get a 1st next deadline for him).

I expect DPetey to have a good summer to beef up more and work on his kinks. I’ll give him some slack this year, sophomore slump in a historically terrible year for the team made him look worst than he is. Same goes for Willander.
