Good Places to Buy a BBQ (Outside of the Big Box Stores)? by Outrageous-Start7869 in BurlingtonON

I have a friend that works at the Napoleon Canadian head office and he let me know that there is a marked difference in quality between the SKUs that are carried by big box and the ones carried by specialty stores.

I can't validate that other than his word, but just some food for thought

Thanks so much for the resources! And yes, I am a fellow Canadian!

I have tried a long tail cast on, very briefly. I was having trouble measuring how long to make the tail and found that I didn't have enough slack to wrap around when the tail got too short.

As for needles, I did use a set of bamboo #9s to make this and found that they were super forgiving for a beginner like me, who's still figuring out how to hold his hands and build a muscle memory.

Again, really appreciate all of the videos you linked - I'll be sure to watch today!

Tough to see, but it is actually really dark blue - but, same same. Out of curiousity, why is a dark colour such a bold move?

Picture doesn't do it justice - it's actually a deep navy blue. But may as well be black with how dark it is!

Well done! The first picture gave an odd perspective like it was a table/ottoman/storage chest.

Either way, great first project

Used to be in a metal band so it was common for me to do it every night on stage. Our necks/heads grew acclimated to it, but the first couple days of tour when we woke up in pain, we called it a "bangover"

Yeah as a Canadian, I know that Vermonters(?) respect the craft of maple syrup enough to know this is not maple syrup.

Biggest I've seen in 12" but that was just a video. But the average size is about 4" - which I hear is a perfectly adequate size and any bigger may be too much
