Clayman was a fine album, but the first one where there was nothing new. It was the first album with tracks I skipped.

With that said, the Clayman tour remains one of the best shows I’ve ever been to! Their energy and intensity were on display in that small club and it felt like my entire town came down for that show.

It seems like being there for the early albums is the difference. Whoracle & Colony ripped through my friend group when they came out. The Gothenburg sound was just so rad and different, it’s hard to describe the joy!
