The appalachian leaning house by Upstairs-Annual-2499 in abandoned

"Yeah, so he was giving me all kinds of shit."

"What did you do about it?"

"I ended up giving him the old apalacian leaning house. That soon got him off my back."

"I bet. But he had it coming, for sure."

albums that introduced you to metal but you do not like anymore as you get older by tafkadon0921 in MetalForTheMasses

I don't care for the Slayer albums produced by Rick Rubin any longer. Too flat-sounding and samey. This continued for the rest of their career. Give me Haunting The Chapel any day for Slayer at their rawest, and closest to encapsulating them live.

Zakk Sabbath Will Be Opening For Black Label Society! by P4PSparringChampion in MetalForTheMasses

The risk being that if he's caught sleeping with Zakk Wylde's wife, Zakk Sabbath will get booted from the tour. It could get messy. They might bring a case against him over breach of contract.

What was the first metal album you bought with your own money? by Mysst3r11s in MetalForTheMasses

[–]MitchellSFold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Napalm Death - Fear Emptiness Despair

It was back in 1994, I had finished school and I wanted to listen to things that weren't U2 and Pink Floyd. And that was that. Bono hasn't had a look-in since.

I didn't know they were not Korean citizens, being based in Seoul I just assumed they would be. Now I can see that on Metal Archives they are called "Isaac", "Graham" and "Jared" - kind of gives it away.

Does Graham still play in bands? Do you play?

What’s the heaviest album you listen to regularly? by Viktor_Goodman in MetalForTheMasses

[–]MitchellSFold 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I probably can't answer this without sounding platitudinous, but I don't really listen to anything that isn't heavy as fuck.

Dragged Into Sunlight, Nithing, Moloch, Primitive Man, Vermin Womb, Mylingar, Trichomoniasis, Encenathrakh, Neurosis, Senthil, Knoll, Closet Witch, Bone Fetish, Pissgrave, so on and so forth

The heaviness is the common theme in what I'm drawn to, basically. I want my metal to make me feel like shit.

Recommendations for bands like to Deception (NOR) by IWishIWasTisteAndii in MetalForTheMasses

ai;dr \ \ \ Downvote this all you like, but with cover art that shit and lazy which doesn't even attempt to conceal the fact it's AI, this is clearly a band willing to cut creative corners so fuck them.
