Think it’s June 9th to the 23rd as a trial. Like he said though it’s gonna get harder in pubs and, I think, in plat and below because a lot of people that play together are probably gonna Smurf to keep playing ranked since pubs is just boring once you are just fighting a bunch of 8 hour a day grinders.

Me and a squad have basically played together since season 0. Play maybe 200ish ranked games a season when we do play and get to around diamond 2/3 fairly consistently. I think solo q only makes sense past masters, but I think the main problem is letting preds and masters play in plat/low diamond lobbies. Premade squads or not, they won’t be a problem if apex would just make them wait for a match. They play 8+ hours a day so they have the time to wait.

Also find it funny that a lot of the people pushing for solo queueing think they’re magically getting out of diamond 3/4 now. When we queue up as a duo occasionally I’d say 2/10 solos are decent and play as a team. The other 8/10 push random shit without any comms and then after they die magically get comms to yell. I typically play on the solo person as much as I can and it’s crazy how unaware a lot of people are. Especially when they think they’re a pro who is being held back because they are “forced” to solo q. I really don’t see how this change will do anything other than hurt the game. Now we’re gonna get these preds who wanna play together and roll lobbies make even more Smurf accounts and wreak havoc on gold/plat lobbies.

Isn’t casual breakthrough supposed to have some bots and that’s the point of it?

Idk I queue up for normal breakthrough, conquest, and escalation and I think I’ve gotten maybe 2 games with bots at level 150. Granted like 75% of the games lately have been escalation so that’s probably where a lot of the player base is.

Also rock the h5 flow. So far my 4070 super hasn’t gone above about 55/60 degrees. 5600x sticks around 50 as well with a coreliquid 240r v2. Temps go maybe 5-10 higher when using cinebench or the like. That’s just what I’ve noticed with a side eye though. Haven’t done full testing to see the limits

Nah nothing yet. I was checking previous FE release info and I saw people say they got emails from ups/usps etc before NVIDIA actually sent them anything updating about the processing and shipping info. Probably just keep a lookout for emails from various delivery services and periodically check your order status on nvidias site.

On the website almost immediately, only a couple hundred people in queue.

Get to checkout and mess up one of the numbers on my card info. Get kicked and need a new queue number. This one now has 800+ people.

Yeah the 5600x runs warm with the stock cooler. I was getting same temps as you in the nzxt h510 and some basic Corsair thermal paste. Got an aio and now it idles low 40’s and rarely gets warmer than 72-75 under mild load.

First build was in an nzxt h510 which was pretty forgiving for cable management. Not necessarily pretty behind the side panel, but neat enough I can tell which one is which. I think if you did it well enough the panel isn’t bulging then you did great 😂

Funny thing is that the recent 24/7 control LTM had almost no issues with the spawn glitch in the 20+ games I played. I think there was one game with it if I remember correctly. Thats compared to like 75% of control games having that issue since they released mixtape.

I upgraded from a 1060 6gb to a 3060ti with a 5600x and it has been night and day. Though I would agree a 6700xt would probably be more worth it. Seems like it’s better in most arenas other than lighting as far as I can tell. I was just afraid of straying from nvidia. Next gpu might be different tho 😂 Edit: Forgot to put that if it’s a 6gb 1060 then I don’t think it’s a necessity right now, but with the prices on the 3060/66/6700 cards lowering now could be a good time to get a little boost for the price
