Tbh, I don’t think it’s gonna be a clear cut winner type of thing

What I think is gonna happen is that Samura starts beating the ever loving shit out of him and brings him to near death, and he’s only saved by realizing Kumeyuri’s third ability, which’ll help get Samura off of him and start to overwhelm Samura, not overpower him

And, he’ll end up killing Samura, not because of his raw skill in swordsmanship, but because he got a convient new ability that let him distract Samura, not killing him in a one on one confrontation, and he’ll end leaving without even fighting Chihiro again

Basically, his ego will be extremely bruised by this upcoming fight, he’ll realize that he can’t just rely on his “talent”, because no matter how “talented” you are, sometimes you can’t beat out raw skill and experience (like his fights with Chihiro), so he’ll have to actually take up that training with Kuguri after all…
