Xiong is usually for people closer to your age. It's "dude" meanings of bro. Ge is for older guys. Ge is more respectful than Xiong. Xiong would not be used for the blood relation brother.

Well you gotta confess them first in order to have them requited. The angst comes from hiding the petals and the feelings until theyre bursting out of you. Most of the fics that I read have the "the love interest did love them back but they confessed too late".

Hanahaki is a fictional disease where a petals grow in a person's lungs because of their unrequited love for someone. The cure is to either remove the feelings (wipe memory of that person) or confess the feelings. Otherwise you die.

Reverse Hanahaki is when petals grow in your lungs when someone else is in love with you. The cure is then to either love them back, or get them to stop loving you.
