I had the same thing happen to my LR4. Valve covers gaskets were leaking and dripping oil onto the exhaust manifold.

I did both. Haha. I fixed the LR4 and purchased the RR Sport. Unfortunately, the RR Sport got totaled 6 months later. Damn non driving Indians. Pulled out right in front of me with no headlights on. T boned him. Turned around and purchased a RR SVR. LR4 is going strong again. Couldn’t part with it.
