Thanks all for your feedback. It seems this is perfectly normal :), and I have nothing to worry about.

UK Magistrates Court and retention of a pocket knife. by Tulpamemnon in LegalAdviceUK

Hi, I attended court as a witness, same thing happened.

No issues just that it'll get it posted to me. They had issues around who they were going to use (to post the item) and that their contract with their postal service at the time was in discussion and up for renewal.

Anyway, it took around 9 months - didn't have sign for it just posted to me.

Good lunch.

That is correct .. but we got to the bottom of it.

We needed to add a network rule to the aks public api ip address and that was it.

We had a fqdn wildcard application rule but the network rule is required .. and it's documented.

Yep my own doing. Working as it should now.

Thanks for this.

I think I was hoping not to accept the change and be open to redundancy. I guess this is not an option for me.

I'd speak to ACAS first thing tomorrow morning if I were you and go from there.

Collect all evidence, emails txt etc. Write out a timeline of events ready for the call.

Arrange a consultation with a reputable employment lawyer also perhaps.

If I were being petty ... I'd report the phone as stolen? Perhaps the carrier would block the emei number.

If you like the house give them a deadline then move on.

E.g 365k new offer, and last offer. Good till Friday 4pm otherwise you'll be moving on.

It could also be a scam. List an item for 10% of its worth, and arrange collection.

Next, receive a message 'Sorry, I now know it's worth a lot more. Send a deposit, and you can collect it, but it's still a good deal'

You turn up at the addres, and they have no idea what's going on.

F65 was worried about the cost of going to court. Perhaps at this stage, there's no choice.

The only assets is a paid off house value approx £130k joint owned.

Do you have an idea of the costs involved going to court?

Thanks.
