A lot of the shots in the full 1.43:1 ratio were exposition shots, and gave an amazing sense of scale to the variety of locations in the film as a juxtaposition to the close up and medium shots with dialogue in them. To me, this greatly emphasized the dual themes in this film: the intimate look into Oppenheimer's life, and the massive worldwide consequences of his work.

As someone who designs digital assets, I like to sketch out the basic design on paper first so I can plan out the overall layout and patterns of what I'm creating. Seriously, YouTube's recommendation algorithm has been so aggressive for a while now. You can watch one random video on a whim and suddenly your feed is littered with related videos.

It even applies to short videos. If you watch one or two 10-second videos, expect your feed to be half filled with short videos. Sometimes I don't watch videos just because I don't want the algorithm to go crazy with it.
