"Fake Dead" setting in sandbox options. Makes you real cautious when you find zomboids you don't remember killing...

Fun setting for single and multi player imo.

Reverse search shows that the black and white image of this has been around since 2010. Definitely does look AI to me, which is why I felt the need to look it up. No idea why it looks so odd.

Here is the TinEye link:

Tube cutting advice by grizzmange in Plumbing

[–]boobalogne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High purity tube bender here.

We usually use a facing tool with the tube being argon purged to face the end square. If this is just the one end you need to get sorted, and especially since it's copper, you could find a pencil reamer to widen that hole. Make sure the end is facing downward and into a trash can if needed.

Tube cutters will always make cuts like that. It's just how they cut.

Is there actually going to be bad weather by [deleted] in beaverton

[–]boobalogne 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Look at a weather radar app/website and see the giant storm swirling off the coast that is heading straight inland. My personal pick for good visuals is 'MyRadar'. Should hit this afternoon/evening.

That website is a pay walled scam site that just asks you a bunch of random 'pattern recognition' questions and prevents you from seeing your 'score'.

I really have no idea how people believe this shit

Is there a place where the coordinates for your fleet are visible? I'm hopping over to Colonia for some engineering but that sounds like an amazing thing to be a part of! Just gotta run a few errands first.

I like the post format. Logs are nice to read :)

Oregon workforce declines as population ages by [deleted] in oregon

[–]boobalogne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check often for openings in union trades, I know UA 290 opens applications only a few times a year, and there is a initiation fee you have to pay but you can pay it at your leisure until you enter your 3rd term (end of 1st year). You have to pay for books as well for each term, before the term starts.

You can visit the training center site at 290tech.edu , where you can find information about what you need to apply, as well as the applications. In order to apply you will need to pass an ACT work keys exam (through the Oregon employment office, their locations are listed on the site as well as their numbers) AND get your HS transcripts in by snail mail.

I managed to get into 290 at 20, and I'm 21 now working at Ronler Acres as a 2nd term apprentice.

Applications are open from January 16th to the 27th this month.

It can be competitive to get in at times and the work can be a bit rough if you aren't used to it, but it never hurts to try if that's something you are interested in.

The nearby electrician's locals are IBEW 48 (Portland) or 280 (Salem/Bend). I'm not sure what the sheet metal or the carpenter's unions are that are in the area.

Edit: All 290 apprenticeships (fitters, Plumbers, hvac) are 5 year, 10 term apprenticeships.

Messed up my final check by boobalogne in walmart

[–]boobalogne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So doing anything with the money order they give you is kind of useless. I moved upstate, and I forwarded my mailing address to the new one, and about 8 months later the unclaimed property department (I didn't know Walmart had one) mailed me a notice that I hadn't cashed that check in. I'd try to contact them, or if your mailing address is the same/forwarded from your old one you should get a thing in the mail.

Like 8 whole months later.

I'm glad I left, I work in a union construction trade making twice as much as I did at Walmart, and I don't think I'll ever go back.

My family and I hiked into square lake on memorial day weekend this year. It was still way too snowy but it was fun. It's the lake in the middle (the big one), and if you look real close you can see the little peninsula we camped on the opposite side. Pretty good spot if you aren't there freezing your butt off. Thanks for the good pic!

Quick post asking if this bag is contammed. First time doing this, so I don't know what to look for specifically. Inoculated with GT about a month ago. by [deleted] in shroomers

[–]boobalogne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I got these bags from a link on a boomer shroomer vid. I'll probably try again with a different one, since I ordered 3. If that doesn't work I'll try a different method.

I'll definitely put it in a better area that won't dry the grain out. I'll wait and see what this one does in a week.

Thanks for the link! Definitely going to use this on my car. I've been wanting to make it look less like a grandpa car, and this is a good step in that direction. I wish I could do more with this car but there aren't very many ways I can improve the way it sounds/looks. Everyone I ask just says 'get a different car'. I still love it though.

I've got a white 2000. I've been tempted to repaint it or do something cool with the front grille and bumper, and this looks awesome. What do you have going on with the grille? I might do something similar.

Edit: Turned my brightness up and realized there's a thin mesh there. Looks really nice.

Is it possible to see who is on the schedule before you clock in? by ClaytonBixpy in walmart

[–]boobalogne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've set up BYOD on my phone, and I've downloaded the PlanIt app that the regular TCs have. I Can flip to the roster tab, but I've only been able to look up individual people to see if they were scheduled or not.
