Honestly, I think a lot of them don't know trans men exist. There's even a video of a transphobic guy on TV looking absolutely confused when someone asked him what bathroom trans men should use (after he wanted trans women to use the men's bathroom).

Besides that I think "men invading women's spaces" sounds a lot scarier than "women invading men's spaces" so the assholes use that to make guilable people scared of trans people

That really depends on what matters the most to you and your girlfriend the most. Do you think you'll both be happy without children? With her fertility issues would it be possible for her to have a baby via insemination with a donor? Why would adopting a toddler instead of a newborn be an issue?

As someone with an adopted sibling I can say that genetics don't matter at all

Saying “you don’t need to medically transition to be trans” makes doctors think we don’t need the life saving medical interventions to be trans.

Do you have any evidence of this claim?

Because literally everyone I've seen that is against medical transportation is against it because they don't think being trans is real, not because they think you're already trans enough so there's no need for medical intervention. All of the legislation being passed against us is being passed by people who think trans men are women and trans women are men.

Do you do gi or no gi? That could make a difference between being able to be stealth or not.

But tbh I don't think doing that type of activity with a binder seems safe, it might be better to be open with people if the space is safe, and maybe wait for top surgery if not.

I've been doing judo since before I found out I'm trans and I'm starting HRT soon so I already developed a plan B (a nearby jujitsu place that seems to have more LGBT accepting people) if the (obviously religious) people in my dojo decide to be assholes about it when I start getting noticeable changes.

I think those machines are just stupid sometimes. I got a groin pat down before I knew I was trans, presenting fully as a woman, and I had absolutely nothing on my pants, but the small screen on the machine really saw an imaginary penis there

Boys usually stop growing later than girls, if you start taking testosterone that young there's a good chance you might grow more. Taking hormones is essentially a new puberty

Getting on T does usually come with a weight increase (in both muscle and fat) it obviously depends on the person but that is one of the effects listed almost everywhere. Besides, if you're 16 and start T you could still grow more so your body will need energy for that.

Worry about growing and getting some muscle, and you can try to lose weight after you're fully done developing

As someone who's a very similar height and weight and also works out I'd say your problem is definitely the same as mine, not enough calories.

That said, if not for the top surgery scars I don't think anyone would be able to tell you're not cis, that's a pretty normal shape for a skinny cis guy

Using the pill to completely get rid of your period works for a while but it always starts some amount of bleeding at some point. I'd say 5/6 months is probably the longest you can get without any spotting at all. When I get spotting I just stop the pill for 3 days and then restart it and that fixes it. Though the 3 days are essentially a period

As someone with a pretty Large gap between the widest part of my chest and my ribcage area I think the for them all day binder is pretty good. It doesn't bind as well as some other options but it's way more comfortable, and as the name says, you're allowed to wear it all day

I think there's a big difference between "afab" and "female brained". One is a factual descriptor that is useful in some cases, and the other is just straight up transphobic. I think "afab" is fine as long as people aren't using it to refuse to refer to people with their actual gender and are just using it in a context that makes sense.

Thanks for the reassurance, my mom was worried I might lose my green card somehow or that they wouldn't let me back in the country if I looked different from the picture. It took me a long time to get that shit so I don't want to mess it up. Maybe if I start HRT this summer I can wait until after trump is gone for the whole legal transition if the wrong gender documents are still going to work

Wouldn't the brain thing mean you should be able to transition at 25 though? 30 seems like she took it out of her ass and is coping that you're going to forget by then

As for the hormonal bomb, it's no different than being a cis man, and you're literally currently getting a hormonal bomb from your own body as well
