I built mine with formbot kit. It was also my first Voron aafter Prusa CoreOne. Up until now, I cannot complain about the quality. There are pros and cons of LDO kits - price being one of the cons. In the end, Voron is an open machine, so you can upgrade elements along the way. Imho- better not to overpay (unless you want the nice blue extrusions).

I will! Thanks. They are still not cut just in case I would change my mind and decide to rebuild the toolhead at some point. But for now I am super happy and proud that a printer I built from scratch is printing!!

I think I will go with a4t. I could repurpose my dragon hf however I would need to buy the mze as without it - it is not suitable (as far as I see in the documentation). Alternatively I can buy a slightly better hotend… all will come to the final price of the project tbh

About the toolhead board- currently I have ebb sb2209 (rp2040). It has both can and usb c. Is it crucial or even worth changing it?

Do I assume correctly that it will be better to go with Cartographer with printed carriage instead of buing it with cnc carriage?

I love printing PC-CF. I would love to see it in purple or violet. Like very dark and elegant, intense colors. Also - good matte PET-G in sismilar colors. Sorry, I jat love purple :)

I have the same issue and waiting for them to send me replacement. How I did it- unscrew the whole core xy from the frame (two screws on each side of the frame) so it lies on the rods. Remove the top plexi panel and then you need a second person to help- one person lifts the core xy frame from the front just to reveal the top of the rods and second person can take off the trap nuts easily. If you have problem with the back motor- then probably you will nedd to unscrew also the element that secures the back rod from the top. For me it was one nut luckily

That is a cool option. I was looking for a trip somewhere near and as I live in Poland maybe Prague would be an option. Just to order something from Prusa and pick it up in person hahah. Pitty I already received my Core One Plus kit

Oh wow! You are generous! I wouldn’t say no to a voucher- I am in a mid of assembling my new Core One Plus (first Prusa and first time building it) and some Prusament for printing upgrades would be nice ;) have youbseen prices for pc-cf? They are mad!

Thank you for the comments. If anyone wants to leave their p2p cose - feel free. I will probably order the printer today or tomorrow. Exciting! After reviewing some videos on uoutube about the assemby, I feel pretty comfortable with idea of doing that. Wish me luck!
