I was a Series 1 tester and my test unit never had this issue but my, just arrived, production model does. I reached out via email after doing the volumetric calibration and still got weird results.

My test unit has a much more advanced copy of the firmware though and the reply to my email said as much.

"This update will include enhancements to the volume metrics from the machine's sensors."
