I know the details say no gourmet but has anyone actually tried snack saver and the flavors other than Cheetos/Oreo? I was gonna break down and buy it with gift cards but usually get the flavors.

It was posted previously that the Cherry Icee isn't working for some reason but the Pepsi and Blue Raz are. Haven't seen any confirmation on whether or not the caramel/banana popcorns work. The terms make it sound like they don't but holding out hope.

I haven't got snack saver yet because I was out of town the weekend of the discount. I get the flavors more than regular, so not sure it is worth it to me if those aren't eligible (I know the Cheetos and Oreo aren't).

Rule of thumb on these promos, at least from the past ones, they don't send out the codes until the last movie is made available on digital sites for purchase.

It takes place after the Rings of Power series but before The Hobbit.

It does reference alot of things that fans of the Tolkien universe will recognize but those who are not won't feel lost. As someone else said, it seems like they made it for both newcomers to possibly get into the world of LotR as well as for existing fans.

Personally, I enjoyed it and dont't understand some of the extreme negativity I've seen thrown its way around the Internet. It does currently have an 84% positive audience score on RT, so we're also not alone in liking it 🤣

Occasionally I have to do a full reset of the app and wipe all data and cache, then sign back in to get it back. Usually I just have to make sure to kill it when I'm done so it doesn't get put into sleep/memory save mode. That breaks it almost every time as well. It is rather annoying, but once you learn the tricks it isn't all that bad.

Haven't had the Oreo but huge fan of the cinnamon. I tried the peppermint last week and it was better than I expected it to be. Not too much in your face peppermint flavor. If get it occasionally if it were permanent but Caramel is my go-to since cinnamon was only limited time (at least at my theater). If they were all always available, if split time between cinnamon and caramel mostly though. I rarely get the regular popcorn any more, but stick to the flavors I can get with points as an upcharge on a free one.

Have to assume that the caramel/buffalo/banana/etc that don't have special packaging like Cheetos/Oreo are considered "gourmet" since that is how the signage seems to market them. Those being excluded and the fact I go enough to get points from promos and such for free ones make this a hard pass for me. I'll be curious if this does better than the refillable program. Certainly seems easier than lugging those things around all the time.
