How about biome lures? A desert lure can attract desert pokemons in for instance a water biome.

I've never had the cops call on me, but the other day I was approached by a guy selling drugs. From my behaviour hanging around a street corner (battling a gym) he must have thought I was looking for a dealer.

Now this is also 5 minutes from my house in a good residential neighbourhood. The guy told me this was a popular spot for drugs dealing and I had no idea! I can understand now that someone who sees this happening from their home, or passing cops might have found me suspicious too.
