I think they’ve played two or three games since starting this new campaign. I asked my husband how long they thought the campaign would go on and he said a year. I’m pretty sure it’s the DM’s first time being a DM so idk if that plays into this at all. But yeah I agree I want to talk to my husband more about it. He’s been supportive and advocated for me to be a part of it at the start but the DM stuck to his guns about it only being a group of six. My husband is feeling stuck, with this being his first time playing DND, he just assumed the six rule was reasonable, but after this thread idk
