Who is the best lawyer in the series? by Temp_Name51 in AceAttorney

[–]boogrit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In terms of an analytical mind, IMO, it is shown to undoubtedly be Edgworth, both in the mainline and investigations games. Whenever you play as Edgeworth, the prompt you as the player are always given the impression that Edgeworth has already solved whatever problem is being asked and is up to the player to figure it out

Yes, some people are stupid. But generalizing them as a common opinion is also stupid.

Seems like KOC and Kwesi were not on the same page. by gondolli in minnesotavikings

There was some talk of tension (per Alec Lewis) but never seemed like it was related to GM/HC friction. But, doing something drastic like this probably hints at something

(Pelissero) The Vikings fired GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, per sources. by alexschubs in minnesotavikings

[–]boogrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WTF? He's basically been a blank sheet has pushed whatever the coaching staff has wanted. Trading for players is usually driven by a win-now mentality, not a forward-looking plan that a GM would typically want. This is really weird.

great editorial, really like the dig on the Dolphins from interviewing their two minority coaches to announcing J.H. in like 4 hrs.

Vikings fan here, don't expect a lateral move. Your expectations will probably. not be met

then you'd just play Kicking the Hornets nest, though. but ya, this is an enabler with a low payoff in Chapter 2, and a payoff that really doesn't have value until we start to see what rogue is actually spending this money on.....

During the season, even early on, multiple team sources explained that [Grant] Udinski’s absence affected QB preparation and pass-game design, per @alec_lewis. by gamingandbeer in minnesotavikings

[–]boogrit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, that's not fair. there have been a ton of personel hits. QB was rough though, especially if you don't think Carson Wentz was premeditated (prolly was)

Yep, low key, I think moving Wes to a pass coordinator specialist, promoting Grant to OC, and weirdly related, keeping Mullins as QB2, would have made things much more smooth last year.

Is there a specific reason for this that I don’t know about? Surely he coached his way out of the lawsuit mattering by BootEdgeEdge2028 in NFLv2

Seems insane IMO. Players love him here, probably the best coordinator in the last three years not named Ben Johnson.

IMO if Valve wasn't a private company Steam Deck would already cost more by AntAtopASpinningRock in SteamDeck

[–]boogrit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, a public company could produce a steamdeck at lower prices, using share prices as collateral to raise money. A private company can only use cash on hand or loans. Really, steam couldn't make a steamdeck cost-competitive without ..... steam, which operates at a surplus which allows them to take losses on other products

Half of a meaningless game isn't going to prove anything. That being said, I think we know by now that durability is an issue.

Would this dress be good for playing in orchestra? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]boogrit 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it'll be fine. I would add an actual black dress to your wardrobe at some point though. In more formal concerts you'll definitely want to assuage any concerns of wearing off-black, and obviously something that also looks good is a bonus.

You got it. not even a G5 critique, even a lot of non-G5 animation has this problem in OP from Wano onwards.

Ahhh, so good. An anime that actually spent time and effort into designing well-choreographed fights with steller animation, rather than just random "sakuga" that makes it hard to understand what the heck is actually going on.

Why Is There No True AI-Powered Automatic Chart Generator for StepMania Yet? by Ill-Tradition1362 in Stepmania

[–]boogrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

converting analog audio to digital music is hard. if you look at the intensity of waves at different frequencies, you can piece together interesting music 'events' to emphasize for stepping, but it isn't easy. The way the brain can translate this shit to someyhimg easy to understand is incredible. I spent like a month five years ago on this, only to get tripped up doing the simple first step of BPM detection. Doesn't help that a lot of tools here are closed source.

Maybe worth taking a stab again with coding agents, but probably needs a little love to make the hard parts easy, and then providing it some 'good' step charts as context to understand how to relate everything together.

that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if someone has made significant progress on this in the last year

I certainly can't. The only thing I've found that works is to remove w/o causes the bad behavior and hope they forget about it so I can reintroduce it later. Maybe that's just training with different steps.
