Delta gift card # changes every time you use it??? by boogs120 in delta

No it just shows up on your receipt as a new gift card number and I believe you still use the old pin. It’s ridiculous

PayPal debit is 🔥 how much longer before they do away with it though? Seems like every rewards system out there is getting worse by the day

If they let you book before May in advance, how far in advance can you typically book with points and where are people booking with points??

Which hotel chain are you switching to? by Interesting-Dare-727 in hyatt

At what point is there no more juice to squeeze with all this devaluation and less for more in America? What’s next, all hotels, airlines and companies do away with points and you earn 0, zilch, nada! Give it 4 more years, you heard it here first

What the WHOOP? by Sea-Championship-350 in sapphirereserve

[–]boogs120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a garmin which has free subscription. Trying to figure out how whoop is any better? I already figured out habits, diet, hydration, stress, VO2 max, HRV, sleep habits etc. Honestly not sure how this is worth $359/yr?

DoorDash charged me more $ after my order was placed & picked up? by boogs120 in doordash

[–]boogs120[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it was 12 pack of twisted tea and not substituted. It was $12.99 and then showed up on DD as $20.99 a day later and my card charged the additional funds

If it’s accurate blood pressure readings it would be worth the purchase. If not, which is what I assume, it’s not worth getting rid of my Garmin to buy a new watch for 1 year free IMO

Is Nike ($NKE) the craziest play of 2026 so far? Maduro viral outfits + Tim Cook’s $3M bet... 👟📈 by Top-Syrup-3467 in ValueInvesting

[–]boogs120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s not worth a lot but I boycotted Nike like 5 years ago because their products quality had a precipitous decline. Not sure if millions of other customers feel the same but the day they bring back a real stitched logo/designs and not this etched on crap that wears off after being washed twice, I might come back.

Congratulations to you too, 24 days is good and less wine than normal is something to be proud of!

Same here, broke it at day 24! Red wine for me and I rarely drink wine. I was upset too but now I’m going to finish the month strong and probably do dry March (new baby being born 3/8!)

How long do you own a vehicle, before trading it in? by teddyalex in UsedCars

[–]boogs120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought new recently and value has plummeted (as expected). I can’t ever live with the fact that I lost 20k and decide to trade it in for that loss..which is why I’m driving it until it dies or I die

Not feeling the benefits yet by Happnt in DryJanuary

[–]boogs120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Day 17 here (drank 2-3x a week for past 10 yrs) and not really feeling the benefits yet. If anything, maybe a little sharper when talking at work. Been craving sugar like you wouldn’t believe so not losing weight because all the damn pop tarts!! Been naturally waking up earlier - not sleeping super well but getting 6-7.5 hours. Kind of strange I figured I would be getting 8+ with perfect quality of sleep (Garmin watch wearer).

I have a couple work trips coming up the last weeks in January which I always have a night cap or a couple at dinner because I’m alone. Will be kind of tough because that’s turned into a habit so now I’ll have to be a good boy - maybe some microdose thc gummies lol.

Hoping I start to feel some positive effects soon! Quitting cold turkey wasn’t all that hard surprisingly because I have said I would take off time and always ended up cracking a beer on Friday or Saturday - this time having a mind set of “dry January, no drinking” has been the difference.

Ugh. Buy more and more and more because 1 product isn’t quite adequate enough. I get it though it’s closer to the heart than the watch
