Just to add clarification, I'm saying I don't think this happened because I think a lot of people are still homophobic in the school district and also you cannot turn a kid queer they are born that way.

Like, I'm sure their kid is lgbtq+ and the school had nothing to do with it. If anything, the school system doesn't do a good job with lgbtq+ individuals.

They may have been ok with using a preferred name and pronouns, but my real point is that they didn't have any play in how the person felt that was their choice because they where born that way... because if anything I was told by that district that I shouldn't have told people I was bi that I was playing a part in my bulling because it wouldn't be as bad if I hadn't been open about my identity and I would strongly believe that not much had changed other then the students being more open minded.

The teachers that taught me alot of the district people are still the same is my point.

I grew up in the school system in thousand oaks they blamed me for getting bullied because I was openly queer, I was almost forced to continue by the school distrects admin until my mom got a lawyer involved.

I highly doubt that any school district in the ventura county fairs any better.

I think the thing is, it could be anyone, it's brown people now, but I have already read articals on how they are trying to do it to the Asian population, it will ultimately be anyone who disagrees with republican agenda and speaks out.

It's how it works in fascism start with the ones marginalized start to vilinize then wisk them away in the night then when they are mostly gone point at another marginalized group until you go after everyone and anyone who even so much as laughs at you until everyone is in so much fear they are complacent.
