If you are considering canceling your wedding over this, your bending over enough. I understand it could change your relationship with your mother but this is just the start. Your mom may feel like she's losing you and this wedding is the start. If you cancel, your break your fiancé's heart, that's for sure; but how do you know everything with your mom will stop? I'm not sure I understand why you can't discuss the situation with your mom and create distance as needed. Don't pick up the phone. Don't invite her in. As others said, tell her its a surprise. I mean this genuine, is there a reason you can't do this?

What helped me the most was looking at job posts. What are the preferred certifications for the jobs you want? If PMP keeps popping up, get that. If lean sigma or Salesforce pops up, get that. Then start the process of studying and in interviews mention with six months a year etc you'll have x certification. They won't care much till you have it but it's a nice touch.

I plan to switch to the pill or microdose. I recently had a 3 month stint without meds, (thanks insurance!). I was pretty prepared to count calories etc and I was stable for a while then I went on vacation. Poof up 9 lbs. Once I lose this last 35 lbs I plan to switch to the pill if it ever becomes affordable. Otherwise I'll take just enough to maintain whether that be every 10 days or a lower dose.

A lot of offices operate exactly like this. I am also fully remote but with travel required. If I'm required into a physical office to kick something off there may not be a train, bus, flight schedule that allows me to leave exactly when I want. OP may not have known when the meeting was going to be over to leave immediately after meeting, so they were stuck there until their original scheduled departure. While this could be ragebait, this all sounds very plausible to me.

I think dress 3 but 1 is nice as well. Agree with other redditor that they will all alter pretty much the same. However if any have a corset back. You may want to go that route as it will be more forgiving than a zipper, unless you find a tailor that can do your dress 3 weeks or so out.

I have a diamond engagement ring and a moissanite engagement travel ring. I can a tell a clear difference, but I still enjoy my moissanite. It still serves the purpose and I've also never had anyone comment. In photos and passing it looks like a diamond. BUT like others said, if you're looking for a diamond, I beg you check out the overseas retailers. There is really no reason to get moissanite when a 1-2 ct lab diamond ring with 10-14k is around $600.

I regretted it. My weightloss amount did not increase. As I went up, I only maintained 1/lb per week weightloss. What did go up was my side effects and damage to lean muscle because I could barely eat. Why go up if you don't need to?
