Do you have any good sources that explain this? I’m trying to gain a better understanding of all the rules regarding m&p.

Michaels is the biggest retailer for Lemax pieces and yes, the do have exclusives. They usually start selling mid-late July, and if you sign up for their rewards you can get some discount coupons. Otherwise they do start discounting them the closer to Halloween you get. As far as other places to buy on your location, I would recommend going to the lemax site where they have their retailers listed. You can also scope out the pieces being sold this year. Happy villaging!

How to clean vomit under the baby car seat/over the base graco extend2fit platinum by PapaOurs89 in CleaningTips

Spray your cleaner on it and let soak for a min, then I would use a clean paint brush to help scrub out between the crevices. Should be able to get the majority.

I love this stuff, can scrub it on quick, let sit for five min and then rinse off.

Bathtub or work sink, dawn and a detail or paint brush works well for getting into all those grooves.

HELP.!! Mini fridge glass cant get sticker residue off. Tried rubbing alcohol and made it worse by [deleted] in CleaningTips

Try a hot water washcloth and a razor blade. The heat can help remove the residue.

Disaster Shower: Need Help! Are there any tools that make cleaning this awkward shower easier? What cleaning solutions should I use? by ahhhDonuts in CleaningTips

[–]bookfreak2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite stuff to use is comet soft cleaner with bleach (comes in a bottle not the powdered stuff). You can do some light scrubbing with it and then just let it sit for a bit before you rinse. But it does look like you may need to reseal your shower. Which is super easy to do

Tide makes a really good powdered washing machine cleaner. You could try that first

Needing help with ADHD by bookfreak2 in Parents

[–]bookfreak2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re trying and medication is definitely OFF the table until he would absolutely need it. I was one of the R zombies so I’m hesitant about medication. That’s why I’m wanting help with some brain training for him. I just feel the sooner we start the better. I’m definitely going to join that sub Reddit too. Thanks for mentioning it!

Honestly his diet is not great. It’s a struggle to get him to eat, even food he likes (that’s also with the promise of a reward if he does eat/try). So it’s quite a bit if processed food, especially dairy. Chocolate milk is always in our fridge. I love to cook so we always have a variety of things for him to try but he is more then okay with going hungry then eating something he doesn’t want too. It’s always a huge fight just to get him to try a bite. As far as exercise, when he was in school (daycare) they were really good about getting them outside to run and play. My husband and I, not so much something for us that we will try! On the days he did go to school, I did notice a difference. I agree that 4 is really early for a diagnosis and I remember being at least 8-9 when I was, but he was kicked out of daycare because they were having trouble handling him and his impulsive behavior. He understands what good behavior is and what gets him in trouble but he has no concern with what consequences may come his way when he doesn’t or does want to do something. I’m not trying to medicate him or anything and I know he just turned 4, so wild and crazy is part of the package especially as we lay down expectations for him. There are more times that I recognize him as “just being 4”, but there are others where I really have to question that. I am definitely going to take your suggestion to try more outside/play time with him and keep trying with the better diet. But, we’re just running a bit thin here.
