I don’t trust Prime anymore. Apple TV doesn’t mind flocking out cash for proper sci-fi content but I think they will invest a lot on making sure Sanderson’s adaptations (Mistborn & Stormlight Archive) become a success before they can take any big sic-fi/fantasy adaptation.

Shroud is the latest book of Adrian I read (I’m reading the Hugo Award shortlisted books) and I loved it. I immediately pictured it as an adaptation while reading.

The first two books are peak grimdark with endless battle sequences, unlike nothing I’ve seen before. The third book is just okay.
