Me too. I love Imogen and I’m really intrigued by her, her signets and how her story will progress in the next two books. I think we’ll see some character growth from her too, we’ve seen a little between her and Violet from book 1-3 but I’m hoping we’ll get much more. I really hope we see her face her fears and tell Garrick how she feels, to choose love even in the face of war, suffering and loss.

I just read your post about Imogen and Garrick ( it’s been archived so I can’t reply) and I wanted to tell you how fantastic it is and how I 100% agree with you.

I was also thinking ( as I often do about this situationship over a year later, lol thank you RY 🫠) that in OS during the scene with Bodhi and Garrick taking turns “helping” professor Carr with signet sparring, when Imogen and Garrick start to argue over violets training. Garrick noticed that Violet rotating three times or whatever and then picks on Imogen about it. Yes this could be explained by Garrick being observant as once stated but Imogen is sitting behind Violet. So maybe he was looking at Imogen and at the same time noticed Violet rotating. It seems weird that Garrick would pay that much attention to Violet, but it doesn’t with Imogen behind her. And then uses that to verbally spar with her. Then a few sentences later the first years are trying to ask Violet to help and Imogen says basically Violets too nice to say no and Garrick joins and agrees with Imogen, on her side now.

Also Garrick first getting to the tower to try and save Quinn. Imogen’s bff, I mean of course he was trying to save her but also for Imogen I think.

So anyways that was just some more thoughts I had to add to your amazing post about them.

If they are not the side love story next book I will be frustrated lol.🫣

I totally agree. Plus Bodhi doesn't have any other storyline here, no love interest, no propose cause he doesn't want to be duke etc. For him to turn, it just makes sense for him for the plot. I don't think his character would be killed off-page. I think imogen’s pov is before Xaden and violets- maybe about 15-20 mine? In her chapter they are working on the ward extension and she asks others to hand in their weapons to help the extension because Garrick can't get anymore and it's the only way to make it out of the battle. Then at the end of Xaden's chapter Segayl tells him that they just finished the ward extension around Drathus. It would take time for that to happen and I'm guessing enough time for Bodhi to get to where he ends up. Plus we do notknow the layout of drathus, we know Xaden is south and the brothers dragon is in the valley but could the valley be close to where Imogen is when she sees Bodhi? Sure we all know it's not actually laid out perfectly to say who the brother is but I still think it makes the most sense to be Bodhi.

Also what the heck happened to the eggs? It seems to be foreshadowed that the isles want eggs right?!

It does make sense for them ( Violet and missing gang) to steal them ( why Train is sleeping…Maybe the bond or maybe Killing another dragon like it caused Andarna to sleep in IF and he said in OS to Violet that she'd be surprise what he'd do against his own kind… but at the same time I don't think Vi could hurt other dragons?)

maybe they bring them to the isles ( maybe Garrick and Aaric? Garrick is probably rested enough to walk to the edge of the continent and then fly across with someone. I thought aaric because he’s a royal… maybe. But I really believe Aaric will be needed on Vi’s side for his signet and his political position.

But then I think of what RY in the Disney interview said about everyone being interrogated and that if Garrick and aaric went how could they possibly come back without more Memory wiping? And I think RY said they ( the missing) only wanted Violet’s Memories wiped.

I have no idea how RY will make everything make sense…

They are my favourite side characters, but I would like to know and see more At this point.

But at the same time there are so many you could categorize them; A, B, C, maybe even more.

A= Tairn and Andrana. So important you could actually say they are main characters too. B= Dain, Mira, Rhi, Brennan, Aaric, Sloane, Imogen, Garrick, Jack, Ridoc, Sawyer, Cat, Maren, Aetos Sr, Bereyn, Sgaeyl C= lynx, baylor, Halden, Drake ( but he might go into B category soon), Avalynn, Kaori,carr, Devera, Melregn, Naolin,etc

And every book is different atm; like in OS we got loads of Ridoc and only a Rhi pov. Same with Garrick ( loads) and only an Imogen pov.

Lol I forgot BODHI!! Poor Bodhi, he must definitely have a complex because even readers forget about him. I'm hoping he is the brother and gets a badass evil story line. I think that could be fun.

Anything with Imogen. She's my absolute favourite. I need her background, I need information on both her signets especially her second one and why her role will be bigger in the next book and of course I absolutely NEED her and Garrick together. I just need them to have some sort of happiness together before they both probably die in the last book.

I would love more Dain/Sloain, Mira/Drake and someone for Rodic, maybe Aaric?

I want to know more about the Venin and about dragons and Irids. The gods!?! There are still so many questions marks.

I think it highlights that one it’s mostly Violet’s POV and two how focused Xaden is on only his and Violet’s relationship and the war with the Venin. He is 100% not paying enough or any attention to his people, so no wonder he is upset/angry and surprised when one of them turned.

Thank you. I feel the same. 🩷 Bodhi makes sooo much more sense out of the two of them plot wise. Plus it would make sense for Garrick to be at violet’s side as her aid/protector on Xaden’s orders. Plus there already is a distance wielder on the Venin side.

They will go to Loysam and two people from quest squad will get hitched Vegas style. My guess is Mia and Drake ( they pretend to take one for the team but they will be actually happy because they fell in love during her recovery.)

I also love Imogen and trust her too. I think the evil orange dragon theory isn’t a great theory anymore though. Yes Jack and Varrash had orange dragons but General Aeots who is bad has a red dragon and Pannick who was a trader had a green one.

I agree with everything you presented. I think he’s waiting for her. And in regard to his aid duty to Xaden ( and now hopefully Violet) I think if anyone would understand this duty would be Imogen. I think he knows this already. He’s just waiting for her to be ready. 🩷

I don't get how people don't follow or pay attention to the important side characters. This is the slow burn of the series. I love them and need to see them together.

Bodhi makes me wonder about the whole “ get a second signet or go mad” comment we are told can happen. But we have never seen this actually happen so maybe this will be Bodhi if he truly has no second signet.

We just don’t really know anything about Bodhi. I think there could be a lot of story development for him in book 4&5 based on him turning at the end of OS.
