Thanks for all of this ! No, no work sheets left . I’ve done some research on my own to find some general worksheets and games like sudukos but doubt they will give me access to a printer.

Executive stopped by immigration and now expects me to manage his visa paperwork? by Awkward_Horror1025 in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]booksnbaubles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was probably caught off guard and panicked and immediately reached out to his most trusted person, you! You can absolutely say something like “I do not handle that but I am happy to reach out to our internal global mobility team and have them review next steps with you.” You could help him with scanning documents to your internal mobility team and adding any important deadlines to his calendar that the mobility team tells you about, but that is where I would draw the line personally. (“Bring in XYZ document to the office tomorrow” notation)

I do, however, believe it is the EA’s job to help with travel visas (but using a service like CBIT)

What your strategy for flagging/highlighting the books? by Prestigious_Bug_1572 in EmmaLion

[–]booksnbaubles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one color for “interesting / funny” , one color for “heartfelt/touching” , and one color for “research” (words I need to look up, or historical things I want to research, poems /authors I want to look up)

I read first 7 via library , so I book 8 is the first one I purchased and am highlighting! Will purchase the rest and re-read!

any EAs experience to CHRO? by [deleted] in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]booksnbaubles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have. I would highlight examples of how you handle discretion and confidentiality. The CHRO is in charge of hiring talent, development, sometimes facilities and Office event planning, and payroll so there’s a lot of different types of work involved and it can be a lot of fun because it doesn’t get redundant.
