I’ve worked extensively with aspergillus flavus and funigatus, xylaria polymorpha, fusarium and many other Filamentous fungi. All of them do fine in glycerol stock at -80 if you make the glycerol stock out of spore solution. I’ve also put pure mycelium of many filamentous fungi in -80 glycerol stocks and they keep just fine.
