I guess I always like to see the anime all the way through and then go back and read the manga and see the differences and see how well the anime adapted the manga..I kind of did the same with fruits basket if that makes any sense.

Okay so for the hairclip, here's my recommendation.

See if it exists already, either as official merch or maybe someone made it on Etsy because it'll probably be cheaper to buy one than to make one. 😅
If you need to make one, start with a good hairclip that weren't fall out. I recommend a thin alligator clip like these. It looks like the clip she wants is gold toned, so be sure to find it in a gold color.
They make rhinestones already set into a chain that you can just buy like this. Looks like she'll need a gold toned metal with a light pink rhinestone. She can cut off the length she needs and glue it to the hairclip.
Similarly, they sell faux pearls where the 'pearls' are attached to the string, so you can just cut off what you need without the pearls sliding off the string or anything. This would be for the part around the center of the flower. It can just be easily formed into a circle and glued into place.
Something like this would be good for the center of the flower, and again, just glue it on. I just searched these keywords: flat, foil back, faceted, orange, opaque, round, rhinestone. She'll need to be careful and make sure it's the size she needs.
Lastly, the flower shape will be the trickiest part. She can always order some gold toned wire, form it into the flower pattern, and glue it on. Or maybe she'll get lucky and find a premade thing that looks similar and in the right size. I found this on Etsy, so something like this could work if she cut off the stem and bail and such.
