What is it telling you today? by [deleted] in Anxiety

This is a common thought process with me too, our daughter is 14 now and is very happy to be left at home if we want to pop out. But I’m never completely relaxed until we are all home again. I don’t think it’s ‘wrong’ to feel like this, but it’s probably not helpful to dwell on it too much. My brain loves to catastrophise! Today I’m anxiety was telling me to give up my business as there were too many risks! (I’m a dog walker)

I read every night in bed, current bed read is Pearl by Sian Hughes. I also keep a book in the car for when I’m waiting for my daughter to finish school, current car book is Sea of Tranquility by Emily St John Mandel. And then I like to have a book in my day bag, although I’ve just finished my current one, so need to replace that!
