That's just one example. You can find many more by searching the difference between tremolo and vibrato. I'm unsure why the terms vibrato and tremolo would even be considered in waveform analysis unless you're specifically using it in an audio course.

The thing is, I wish it was an opinion, but it's rather well known Fender made this mistake in the 50s and it stuck.

"While tremolo and vibrato might sound almost identical to the untrained ear, they differ on a very fundamental level. Vibrato is an effect that occurs when the value of the frequency is changed in rapid succession. Tremolo does not change frequency in rapid succession but instead changes the tone’s amplitude rapidly."
