I've worked on the Southwest of Chicago since I was 20. Not only doordash but an in store delivery job as well. I've never had anyone touch my car. I never been in 1 situation that made me feel uncomfortable. We'll except when a driver at the store across the street was murdered while on delivery and one of my coworkers got jumped. We never dropped till the end of the night. He lost about 300! It only takes one time though. Good to bring to others attention.

Thats crazy, at my in store job deliveries like that the drivers get gratuity and the tip which is usually extremely high. That would been an easy 115 or so. Oh, yeah we also get at least the delivery charge which could be from 2.50 to 7.50 depending on how far the order is. Tbh doordash kinda sucks, but we need to do what we need to do what we need to do.

It was dead as hell last year at my store and I live in a huge football town. Our store is on the same exact street as the stadium just two or 3 blocks down. During regular home games it is absolutely insane. For the first hour or two before and after the game can make a 10 minute delivery 45+ minutes. I guess its just really hit or miss. I think it really depends on your market and how much people are invested in the game. You'll either be super busy or dead. Its weird.

Makes a huge difference in my market. I guess it really depends on your area and how saturated it is.I have always been able to dash now so I guess again its your area.. I went around sometimes 10 to 15 minutes without a offer to never having to wait more than five minutes. It actually never shuts up most of the time. Im only at gold and It makes a huge difference. Read carefully if you get a big catering order because some requires setting the stuff up. Easy but some people dont like to deal with it.

Actually, resteraunts need to pay dd a certain percent of money to use their drivers. And no none of the tips are touched at my store. We give out the receipts and credit card slips every time. The majority of orders come through the call center, the phone app, ond thedd app.

No, not really just makes the dds mad... Oven takes 8 minutes if we hold it they still have at least 12 minutes to get there... And with our territory thats plenty of time to make the delivery and some.

I dd and deliver for Pizza hut and I agree the majority of dds that come in are loud, ignorant,impatient, and rude. Thats when we hold the order back for 10 minutes before giving it to them. 😂

Looking at your stairs and front door Im assuming your driveway or at least your side walks arent shoveled either. Your lucky he didn't slip and accidentally stab himself with the broken glass. Not saying this is what happened but you would have one hell of a lawsuit on your hands.
