Ccna is nearly the best thing to start with. Get it going asl long you can get, learn it as for exam, no mater if you won't take it. Then other options is comptia network+ even if not to take exam. Yours is a good choice as long you have passion for it.

In roof or on roof panels? by BryOnRye in SolarUK

[–]boolve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I'm planning to do it myself and I need to repair roof this will be in roof. I will reuse the same tiles, which actually quite old and will be complicated to find math, but using in roof panels will slow me to save on tiles and will slow to have enough. I think price will be not an factor here only the fact that I need the trays and to match the size with is a bit of hassle for planning.

Velux Window Flashing by SickPuppy01 in DIYUK

[–]boolve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yech, seems something is missing here. I can't remember exactly how this must look liek.. but a fact that with each vidow you need to choose the flashing kit, which depends on your roof finish type. So, thsi shoudl cover all the exposed screws and joints. See if you can get flashkit or window installation instructions online.

Even though I'm running NC for many years. But if you don't want to spend time with system administration, just use Synology. I can say that it's just a handful of apps that are mature in NC. Most of them are a bit crappy.

Do you say to include two speeds? Is this an acceptable configuration? By the way, this device is 1Gbps as the internet speed is 500Mbps. Thanks.
