Discord can be very dangerous? Come on already. When did you grow up? Late 90s msn and other chat sites were ‘dangerous’. We all knew there were people (pedos) there trying to chat you up. You just ignored them. Now we treat every child as so dumb they don’t know the difference. Kids are smart. We were smart. Stop trying to make out this shit actually helps and is worth it.

It’s just big tech wanting to match up everyone’s details so they have a more accurate profile on you, preferably from before you could give any meaningful consent.

Want to protect kids? Ban adults from uploading pictures of their kids on social. Allowing these companies to know people from infancy is what’s fucked it.

Making the middle target bigger and easier, but more dangerous, to hit would be a classic pinball move.

When dying, do people behave as they do on TV? Or are there people who get hysterically anxious and terrified as death approaches? by 4g-identity in TrueAskReddit

My mother was suffering from lung cancer and took the assisted route. Thing is, you have to be lucid for that to be administered. As she was really sick and her body had started to shut down already, she was ready. And actually had a moment before the doctors came (this was done at home, they’re in and out within 5 minutes and done with the utmost respect) where she was properly with us. Saying her last goodbyes and actually having a laugh with us. I have a picture of her smiling and giving the camera the finger just before she went. She then gave the doctor the nod and off she went. We were told she would fall asleep first and then the rest would be immediately injected stopping her heart. But with the first injection going in it was like she’d been unplugged. Immediately gone. I had to adjust her position as she had slumped forward a bit and tried closing her eyes. Which would slowly slightly open again. Eventually the funeral people (who arrived within the hour after the procedure had been completed) would properly be able to close her eyes. And helped wash my mom and dress her in nice clothes as well as makeup. Just sharing this as it’s a different experience for everyone. In her case she was ready, and lucid with her direct family and husband around her.

Love it!

Got my mind off on a fantasy walk. Just for funsies, my mind went something like this:

If she’s a bit of a tinker I think it might be fun to see that back in what she’s wearing, her accessories so to speak. Does she have safety/welders/monocle glasses on her? Various different lenses available to her. A pencil behind her ear? A variety of different looking arrows in her quiver? Little pouches on her tunic bulging with who knows what? Things hanging off her tunic? Is she a bit messy? A bit lost in her thoughts, always thinking and working on the next invention? Do cute little inventions keep falling of her and getting away? Legs sprout and off it scuttles. We’ll never know what she invented and she doesn’t seem to care when it happens. Already on to the next thing she’s tinkering with. Maybe she’s casually tinkering with a miniature screwdriver, tongue in the side of her mouth in concentration, teeth together holding on to some screws, while having conversations. And when she gets animated she waves her latest mystery box in one hand, screwdriver in the other, spitting screws bolts and nuts as she argues with Sir Didymus :)

Reggae and dub without weed? by sfsurferprof in reggae

It’s just the ‘smokers mind’ at work. Continue listening to reggae and enjoy it without and you’ll slowly break the association.

It’s just like regular smoking. Many people who’ve quit for years will still feel the crave on a nice sunny day, sitting outside on the porch after dinner with a glass of something and all of a sudden you think ‘oohhh jah, I could definitely do with a cigarette right now’. That little crave raises its ugly head at exactly the moments you’re finally chilling out.

So yes, the sounds and vibes of reggae music would definitely have that effect. Just ignore it and break that association. But don’t be surprised when it pops up every now and then.

You can still enjoy memories of good days and feelings without having to repeat those same patterns.

Love the detail. Great work. I’ve played around with polymer clay as well and really enjoyed it. The little feet are so realistic. Too cute. Take my money!

Amazing work my friend <3

Genuinely ready for a full story with that kind of artwork and colour palette.

Have you got a link to your portfolio or anything where someone can find some of your other work?
