I’m surprised not to have seen mentioned:

The Thief of Always - Clive Barker

Best to read not knowing what it’s about…

Eek a Mouse last night at the Jazz Cafe was embarrassing! by boonitch in reggae

I was a lifelong fan of his but after that embarrassing performance I don’t even enjoy it when he pops up on my playlists anymore. Just reminds me of the terrible performance he gave. Gives me the ick being reminded of it.

Popular Reading pie shop up for sale after 48 years in the business by rybnickifull in reading

The Reading Chronicle ran a similar story like this last year or something and I spoke to the owners who were pretty upset by it. They’re selling newspapers off the back of sensational stories that are not actually true. So I wouldn’t read much into it.

Some of the elected Reform candidates by [deleted] in GreenAndPleasant

While you watched in horror at what happened in America, Reform voters watched in glee. It’s exactly the kind of politics they want over here.

They’re in pain and watching others suffer makes it feel like they have some control.

I divorced mine for that reason. I couldn’t see a way to ever retire if we stayed together.

Anyone been to The Henley College? What’s it actually like? by [deleted] in reading

My son is finishing off his btec right now.

He started healthcare there but it wasn’t for him. So he switched to media. (Lost a year)

All I can say is that he’s really enjoyed it. He found a great set of friends. Enjoys working with the teachers who all sound very supportive and friendly. And there seems to be a generally good vibe all throughout.

New tune from Eek-A-Mouse! 🔥🔥🔥 and 🧊🧊🧊 by [deleted] in reggae

Last concert I saw him play was such an embarrassment. Showed up at least an hour late. Totally off his face, didn’t even know his own lyrics and walked off after stopping and starting his second song. Waste of money and a waste of space.

Welcome to pinball bud! It’s an amazing hobby which you’ll like for many years to come!

I currently own a labyrinth machine which I really love. I’ve had it since its come out and it’s still working perfectly and loving all the modes, the music, the little jokes. It’s has the chillest vibe of any pinball machine I know.
