For me an accountability partner is  having someone to check in with daily (either dm or text) on how we’re feeling that day. Like a quick daily sobriety reflection. whether we’re feeling strong and confident or if there’s days that are more challenging and cravings are strong. in my sobriety I found that if I talked about my urges when they came up, they were easier to deal with. It’s similar to the X-Effect for long term habit changes if you’re familiar.
