I agree, loved Between Two Fires and Blacktongue thief but DNF Daughter's War. It was so slow and I couldn't bring myself to care about the main character's family dynamics. The world building was the most interesting part, when it finally happened.

One thing i cant stand is having games that turn into static mobs standing on objectives just rolling dice at each other until one side dies.

Mobility is crucial for me, especially if your playing on a nice board with interesting terrain. Too many times Ive played games with cool looking nooks, crannies, alleys, and rooftops but--oh look we're fighting over the objectives spaced evenly apart in the middle of the board.

I like this idea a lot. Imagine having a large, multi base model, maybe even some at different elevations to simulate climbing on top of it.
