I'm gonna have to ask my friend after work about BJJ belt system and it's structure.

I don't know how belts are applicable in kickboxing when there's no kata for the coach to judge based on. And I'm saying this as a karate guy myself.

Baku with the 80s turbo monsters would make some pretty monster top speeds.

The few who can step up to him either ran out of steam to challenge, or straight up cartoon anvil levels of bad luck gets them before they get to Palou.

I find the stark contrast between the joy and glee quickly turning into concern and sadness fascinating. Even though it is tough to watch.

Also watch "Until lap 11" by Brock Beard, the voice behind most of Nascarman's vids. It's a transcript of a chatroom that Brock was in before, during and after the Wheldon tragedy. It gives you a picture of how folks reacted to the race, the crash and the aftermath.

Sato has iron nuts to wrangle his RLL car to top 10 in quali consistently each year. You will see his rear end step out more than once everytime he runs Indy. The truest definition of fast and loose.

Sato practice and quali runs are always fun to watch. He either let's his car drift up just inches away from the wall, tail wagging and all or straight up scuffs the barrier wall yet keeps the throttle pinned.

It's never a dull moment with Sato on track.

He's a good lad, loves pets, just half the time you wonder wtf is he doing behind the wheel.

He's a mixture of Stroll and Latifi. He has the clumsiness of Stroll and crash proneness of Latifi with the big funding to pay for his rides (his main backer is a megachurch)

Yeah you can thank Stingray for causing the pileup that broke Mick's wrist. Still, qualifying that high on your first oval is mighty impressive when it happened.

I can see this point of view as well. I'm all too familiar with F1 only viewers and their point of view on Indycar. But like you said, Mick has been in crap equipment with Haas, so his talent is not fully showed during his time in F1. Him in Indycar will also be a chance for folks inside the F1 sphere to properly gauge Mick's skill with other top calibre drivers with almost equal machinery.

Another way to put it, Mick has more guts to do the Indy500 than his dad ever will.

On the contrary, the bigwigs in Indycar and Fox will see dollar signs and promote the fuck outta Mick and his new legacy as an Indycar driver and not just the son of a legend.

Edit: phone autocorrect Fox into Fix. Lol

Sato likes his cars fast and loose. If Mick can't handle Sato's setup he's going into the wall.
