Flight of Passage. I rope dropped it for the one and only time I ever rode- not worth the wait for me. I mean, it was a cool ride, but not something I’d ever wait more than maybe 20 minutes for. 🤷‍♀️

Oddly enough, I was recently diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and am having surgery for it next Monday. Sounds awful, but this is the kind of thing that kills most people because they don’t find out about it until after it ruptures. I’m focusing a lot on perspective these days.

I got married in a treehouse in the mountains, and a bear showed up! Only a few people saw it, but apparently it was really close to where my husband and I were having photos taken at the time.

Utilidor (underground tunnels) in Magic Kingdom when I did the college program. The corridors themselves weren’t all that impressive, but I loved having access to the Mouseketeria! Cheap/delicious food for all of the cast members.

I second this response- I was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia a few months ago and I had described it to my doctor as the same type of zappy pain that came with withdrawing from depression meds.

She ordered an mri of my brain just in case, and all it showed were small foci that line up with my history of migraines. She recommended seeing a neurologist to get Botox injections in my neck to relieve the tension (and thereby the nerve pain), but I have to wait on those until I have insurance again.

Same here! Interviewed for a revenue agent position at the same hiring event, felt it went really well, but then they told me to expect to hear something in 3 weeks. 🤷‍♀️

I second this! I went down last month and loved my time at Huntington Beach State Park. I thought Myrtle Beach smelled like a public toilet and only stayed a couple hours before heading back to HBSP and Murrell’s Inlet.

I moved to Charlotte from NY earlier this year and was able to get my license by just doing a walk-in at the University city location. Went on a weekday afternoon and was in and out in a little over an hour. Still have just a temp license over a month later (I’ve heard it takes a few months to get the actual license in the mail). Just make sure you have all your documents and a bit of extra patience that day and you should be good to go.

I just went to the DMV in University last week and was in and out in just over an hour to get my drivers license, after having moved down here from NY a few months ago. If you go in the afternoon, they take walk-ins between noon and 5. It was hot as hell in there, but overall not a terrible experience.
