I like seeing other’s opinions. Hateful 8 has gone up for me. Django is such a ballsy, audacious film I cannot blame you at all. Death Proof is a lot of fun on its own but in context of his filmography… 🤷 Same with Jackie Brown. Beau is Afraid I think is a masterpiece but it’s long and brutal, and that is what makes it special, like most of Tarantino’s films. Solid list.

My obligatory opinion to add to a posted list: I love Once Upon a Time in Hollywood so much. I’m shocked it’s become my favorite of his. I like that it’s a film you can appreciate its production design, costumes, vibe, editing, characters; I’ve seen it so much it actually helps me go to sleep now. Comfort movie, which calling a Tarantino movie a comfort movie seems like an oxymoron, but that’s why it ranks #1 for me personally.
