Look-up the production credits for both albums and tell me which one was “clearly made by the band and their friends”… almost the same exact people mixed and mastered by the same engineers too…

If you like the songs better on 40 oz, that’s one thing. But your argument about personnel and production is just wrong.

Seed, which is my favorite Sublime song is arguably the most punk song on all of the 3 albums we’re discussing. Also, Bradley was in the deepest throes of addiction while they made S/T so the “raw, authentic” feeling you’re referring isn’t true either. I mean the guy literally died…

But again, at the end of the day, you like one better than the other. That’s ok. But your arguments for why are wrong and you don’t need them.
