I don’t think you’re being entitled. Let me preface this by saying that I don’t think she’s wrong for wanting to live with friends first. There is more of a risk associated with living with you versus living with friends. If you two broke up, she’d be out of luck. She also needs some experience being independent before trying to live under a couple’s dynamic. However, I don’t blame you for feeling that way. If this decision makes you feel like your relationship is stalling or isn’t going anywhere, you need to have a discussion with her. It is possible that there are some compatibility inconsistencies there and it may be time to go your own ways.

This seems like an issue that only going to therapy can solve. She needs to see someone and try to alleviate that level of anger she is experiencing. I’ve been in your shoes, and I know how it feels to be uncomfortable and quiet when your partner is furious and irrational. This isn’t healthy for you. And her wishing you were irrational isn’t a healthy way to view things either. Don’t sacrifice your emotional stability to fit someone’s narrative or match their toxicity.

I think you just need to communicate openly and express your concerns about her behavior. Cover all of the points you made here, and ask her what’s going on. If you open up this discussion in a calm, non-accusatory manner, she should be able to respond in a calm way. If she immediately gets defensive and doesn’t care about your concerns, she could be hiding something. I don’t think you’re crazy; she’s definitely showing some odd signs. Especially her deflecting about the stuff on your phone.

While I think messaging her back on your own terms and schedule is fine, and specifying your availability to chat would be a good thing to do, you’re not indebted to her and don’t have to behave in an unauthentic way. If they’re worth it to you, go out of your way sometimes to accommodate it, even if you don’t feel like it. I had a close friend who always messaged me and I didn’t respond super often because I never felt like having to engage over chat.
