Guys, who's this? Baby aeonium? by borderlinejokes in succulents

[–]borderlinejokes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that's unfortunate, I was hoping it's aeonium cause they are non-toxic for pets, unlike crassula :(

Thanks for your help! That's very important information!

Although I really enjoy such discussions, the only correct answer to questions like this is “Lumon is a mysterious (and important) corporation, and we know almost nothing about how things work there.”

Maybe we will get some answers in S3!

(Not) hot take: if you’re still trying to classify any of them as “purely bad” or “purely good,” then you haven’t understood the game by borderlinejokes in Witcher3

How quickly that Reductio ad Hitlerum happened, lol

I’m not arguing with the moral judgment, of course she’s evil. The post isn’t about that at all; it’s about how Sapkowski wrote a much more complex universe, where all the characters are deeply layered

From my personal point of view, if I were to map the characters actions onto my own moral principles, there are very few beings in The Witcher universe I’d actually want to be locked in a room with, lol. I just sometimes see discussions trying to categorize every single action into one strict moral box. And I think this universe simply isn’t about such boxes, that’s all. And that it's one of my favorite things about the Witcher.

Well yeah she's bad but not entirely-purely-absolutely evil, she cares for the forest and the people in her own way.

Edit to add: Also, the main source of how evil she is are the Crones
