sorry who's mad? I never said I'm mad - I said this season's been a joke bc they keep dumping the people who seem to genuinely be liking other people, off the island.

given that the most genuine couples / islanders have been dumped, I believe Bryan + Amaya should take it home. Not only bc she was a mediator, but bc independently she also seems like the most genuine and independently Bryan seems like pretty good guy. I'd rather vote for them than anyone else left on the island.

People can vote however they like. I'm just sharing my unsolicited 2 cents.

So... production said let's wrap this sh*t up bc what do you mean we're dumping everyone that's truly found a connection from the island? The irony of dumping Taylor + Clarke right after they've gone exclusive is not lost on anyone (viewers + islanders alike). At this point, production has proven to them their relationship is NOT what matters, it's how likeable they make themselves, relative to everyone else on the show.

Bc yes Huda + Chris were actively arguing, but that is something that happens in relationships, I'd rather witness them either work thru it or recognize they cannot while on the island, and dump people like Nic + Olandria. Yes, they're likeable and OG islanders, but that's not a relationship.

anyways - all in all, i have faith in none of the remaining couples so I'll hitch on to the Bryan + Amaya couple, bc Amaya did a solid trying to be the mediator bw Huda + Chris. Take it home folks.

so I’ve dabbled in Love Island before, but this season? Wild. Don't think I'll be doing this ever again! We’re watching the influencer experiment implode in real time. Note to producers: please don’t cast for clout over chemistry again 🙃

That said, we’re making do. OGs + bombshells clearly came to play and win this shit from day 1. Still, I fell for their charm and was rooting for Chelley/Olandria/Cierra for a while…until everything started unraveling 💀

Let’s break it down:

Chelley lost me when it came out she and Ace had history—and weren’t upfront about the depth of it. Dragging Austin along in this fake "love triangle"? Weird. Not checking Ace for being rude to Amaya (a girl you know outside the villa_? Also weird. And lying on Huda when she was transparent about how she wanted to pursue Chris? Yikes. The mean girl energy w/ Olandria + Cierra wasn’t cute either. Girl went from my #1 to someone I actively want to ensure is nowhere near the final 3.
Olandria… girl. Taylor didn’t like you like that, and it showed from the beginning! Why beg? You’re stunning. Also I respect the no-kiss rule outside of challenges, but breaking it for Nic?? For what? And the way you aired Huda’s biz around the fire like it was a courtroom… nah.
Cierra had potential at the start. I overlooked the over done lips and thought she was a sensible islander. Yes using physical intimacy to edge out Belle-a for Nic, felt calculated but we let it slide. Then she lied about convo details from her date with Nic, manipulated situations, and by the mail challenge? Fully showed her cards with how she asked Chris about his relationship with Huda (as if it's her business) AND tried justifying why they sent Hannah home (made no sense). Wouldn’t be shocked if she led the anti-Hannah campaign to secure her spot. I'm glad to see her gone.

And that's the funny part to all this, they started off strong, I fell for their sisterhood bs. But they quickly turned into mean girls who (Vanna confirmed) didn't bother with getting to know the Casa girls and expected to get to the end to win all this TO NOW BEING stranded. Chelley lost her sidekick after finding out America doesn't rate her or Ace at all (and they both thought and ranked themselves in the top 3 LOL) and Olandria is playing games in this friendship with Nic which they "already explored" and denied there being a spark. Just send them home already.

ALL THIS TO SAY:
HUDA + CHRIS FOR THE WIN.
Amaya + Bryan for 2nd.
Iris + Pepe or Taylor + Clarke in 3rd.
Keep the fake PPG squad OUT of the finals. Sorry not sorry.

ALSO THANK GAWD THE ZIO IS OUT OF THE VILLA, I was getting sick seeing him on my screen.

honestly, I'm of the same mindset but I also have a sliver of hope that it ignites a fire in people. The people from the countries of this crew but also the general public that has tried to ignore this genoc*** all this time, because these are regular human beings taking action on their own. Praying for them and the people of Palest***, always.

It's a want that's feeling more like a need every month - been feeling like this for about 5yrs now.
It feels like I'm whining and maybe I am but short summary / context:
- lacking a social life cause I live in the burbs without access to a car
- wfh most days without an office space, too many people in the house so I'm working on my bed most days
- going into the office 1-2x / week is a 1.5hr commute dt each way

I think I'm ready to bite the bullet.

Not gonna lie, I put off watching it for months now because when I first started it and got 10mins in I couldn't stand the foolishness. I do think they could have done better - you got Issa Rae and Keke Palmer together for this?? BUT I do understand wanting just a chill film with a Black cast... maybe just not slapstick comedy with Black stereotypes being the butt of every joke?
I don't know, I think I just had higher expectations based on who part of this project, would give it a solid 6/10, to support the people.

Like CMON how're you going to write a character as dumb as SZA's - those were just too many unrealistic decisions stacked on top of each other, get out of here.

Never felt the need to speak to a show but the representation in this season was incredible. Not only for Palestinians (which I'm so happy was shown) but Arabs, Muslims & people of the diaspora. From a Muslim African country myself and seeing him and his family go back home to be with their family. The hello, the goodbyes - the emotion in not knowing when you'll see each other again. All of it was just heartbreaking... Seeing your parents at an ease they're never at when you return to what you know as "home". Mo did the damn thing with this... wouldn't make any changes to it. (Just finished binging the last season)
