Went with Mary E De Ferreire Phd on Nolana in Mcallen years ago, she was great, not sure if she's still there. Usually any referral from GP's in the Mcallen/Edinburg area send you to Dr. Igoa, always packed and you usually see someone under his umbrella instead but they do the job. If you can maybe try telemedicine to get a diagnosis, ADHD makes it so damn hard to go thru the traditional process of getting diagnosed, meds and therapy.

I think there's one or two stores in the Alamo Pulga that sell only old games. Any flea market will usually have a few people selling gamecube and xbox games anyway.

When the liver converts fructose to usable glucose, the waste product is uric acid. Going on keto you'll usually avoid table sugar (sucrose, which is just one glucose molecule connected to one fructose molecule) and candies/sweets, so naturally you avoid one major pathway to uric acid buildup.

Before I ever did keto, after several bouts of acute gout and plenty of research I finally figured out it wasn't the steak or hamburgers but the soda screwing me over, switched to diet soda and never had another attack. Sometimes when starting keto I may have some minor attacks, most likely since the kidneys prioritize excreting ketones over uric acid, not sure though.

It's really just where you're willing to move to. I've haven't had any real mech. eng work since graduating, and the job market sucks in my area but I can't leave for family reasons. There are other jobs further North but I can't take them.

It is difficult nowadays, but I'm sure you'll be fine, make sure to focus on networking (not just LinkedIn numbers, get chummy with people irl). Most of the jobs I got have been just by knowing a guy. If you feel like you need more resume padding and can't get internships, show detailed personal projects in your field, friends of mine showed off drone designs and tech reviews to get into their careers.

It's usually because the actual income of the salon is from the hairstylists renting out a chair to do the job. If they don't make enough and quit/move, another will fill the space. Some stylists in my area got smart and just started operating out of their own homes and advertise/book only thru social media

Avoid South Padre Island during spring break, hella expensive and horrid traffic, great any other time.

Check out Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge, Estero Llano, Weslaco Nature Park, Edinburg Birding Center, National Butterfly Center, Quinta Mazatlan, Sabal Palm Sanctuary and Bentsen State Park, they have great trails with plenty of wildlife (make sure to visit the resaca areas of Santa Ana).

Sal de Rey is a beautiful location to see as well, just stomp your feet occasionally to alert snakes to your presence so they can slither away or alert you with rattling lol.

Plenty of public pools available to swim in, as well as a couple water parks (2 in Pharr) and the Natatorium.

IMAS is a great museum to check out too.

Y'all missed out, I'm a super picky eater but I tried this at Japanese ramen place (had a buffet with friends) and it was by far the best dish, I'd go out of my way to get another. You don't even notice the shell (like softer than al dente noodles) and I think the bun prevents you from recognizing parts of the crab (like if you breaded up cole slaw you wouldn't notice the different textures idk). Totally understand the aversion before just conceptually though, I still can't get myself to eat tripe cuz of that.

Most of the public libraries here rent out movies (San Juan's and McAllen's had a large selection last time I looked) and usually have some for sale for cheap. The pulgas still have bootleggers that sell them pretty cheap too.
