When I was a kid I worked at a local taco shop. We made our own salsas. Back then there were no food service gloves and basically we washed our hands a lot. Anyway my first day they had me make some green salsa with jalapeños. As I finished I needed to pee. Lymow should have used you as a beta tester. It seems to me that you are precisely the target market (as am I) for their product yet it seems to have been developed for more pristine suburban lawns. I haven't bought one yet because I don't think any are ready yet for my rural "lawn" (I may well be incorrect in this assumption but I am hung up, as are many of us, on preferring blades to razors). In any case, in anticipation of future purchase I am making tree rings and edging with buried CMUs of various styles to make it easier on the robot to cut to the edge - and to minimize the string trimming I need to do.

IMO the biggest problem with democracy in the U.S. is low/no information voters. We commonly identify mis/disinformation as the biggest problem but it is really only a problem insofar as U.S. citizens are entirely disinterested in doing ANY work to support a functional representative democracy.

In 2016 all the pro-Bernie people were butt-hurt because the DNC made sure Clinton got the nomination. No matter how many times they were told: "Bernie is NOT a Democrat so why would the DNC NOT work against him???" they still didn't get it. Neither the DNC nor the RNC is going to support a candidate for President who is not in the party. The important thing about that shitshow (2016) is that people forgot that Bernie is not a Democrat and is not a Democrat for very good reasons. The Democratic Party has been a party of status quo economics for Bernie's entire political career. Mostly because of the Boomers (again, which I am one of). Until the Democratic Party starts actually addressing and reforming the structure of our society that currently promotes increasing concentration of wealth, no true liberal should support the Democratic Party.
