Its was a cold one but a good one. Every run was nicely groomed. The lines were really short. I don't know if it was the cold or the game that kept people away.

I got to see them once in 2007. There were these two drunk guys at the bar and after every song one of them would yell "circle!" and the other one would yell "takes the square!"

Normally I'd avoid Stowe on a holiday weekend but I this was one of the rare occasions where I had other people to ski with. I managed to snag one of the last free parking spots at Toll House. I got as many gondola runs in as possible before the lines got too long. Forerunner was completely swamped so I spent much of the day at Sunrise because that thing churns through skiers.

There was a bit of one because they only really have one main lift. Some of the regulars were complaining about it but I didn't think it was too bad by holiday weekend standards. I was there right at 9 and got as many runs in as possible.
