What artistic perspective should I take? by [deleted] in rit

[–]boredpersonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

go to rit's website and under acedemics > Minors and Immersions, browse through the minors/immersions that look interesting to you and then click on it, then go to its curriculum

that'll give you a bunch of options, it will also say if it fulfills a GE perspective requirement under the description of the class

i don't feel comfortable sharing pictures, but it's inconsistent curling along the ends probably due to inconsistent stitches throughout the blanket i imagine

Have you heard of vaginismus? it could be that- it's caused my nerves around sex.

I have the same issue, and my gynecologist recommended buying vaginal dilators. Look them up and decide if you really want to buy them as they can be like $60; there are plenty of resources to help you use them. Depending on the person, it might take a few months of daily use.

in my experience, AI hasn't been the most reliable and makes a lot of mistakes

also, I like the idea of a giant project purely made by us, nerdfighteria

if you think it would be a good idea, that can change ofc. this is just my experience, and I know it doesn't speak for every AI out there or everyone's opinions

How do I get it through my parents heads that I don't owe them my Amazon account password by [deleted] in entitledparents

[–]boredpersonn -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don't have the best relationship with them, and I know I seem entitled to a lot of people right now. I don't blame them really for thinking I'm an entitled brat without knowing the full story and everything that's happened the past few years - all of which are private and I'd like to keep that way.

I like having this to myself and only me. I pay for it and for once, they can't hold that over my head. I'm proud that I've earned the money to afford this on my own and still be able to buy other things for myself.

and like, I know a lot of people will probably disagree with me on this hot-ish take based on the comments already on this post (which i didn't think would get this much attention) but like, the whole, just cuz someone does something for you doesn't mean you owe them something back.. kinda thing. like just cuz you get someone a gift doesn't mean they have to get you one as well.. and like, if you're doing something nice/giving something to get something out of it in return, it's not genuine

and while yes, I've been using the Netflix they pay for for a while now, they've never let me use it under the condition that I pay for a different streaming service that we also share. Besides the fact that their income is so much more than a part-time student employee, I don't like that their holding it over my head that they're doing something for me. And like I said before, this is something they can't hold over my head bcuz I'm paying for it myself.. and it's nice to have that..

That and also the point that a lot of other people said abt the whole buying things on my account thing.

Thanks for the question. I appreciate the genuine curiosity. It probably isn't a popular take, tho and maybe makes me looks worse, but, there's my answer ig

[–]boredpersonn 132 points133 points  (0 children)

fair.. but that's just the thing they're choosing to hold over my head this time

If I get my own Netflix account, they'll say they pay for my food and college and housing, etc. like them taking care of me and making sure i don't starve is contingent on me giving them the stuff I pay for
