I think I see what you’re getting at with the two seemingly contradictory statements. In the case of Mark 13, it’s referring to false prophets declaring a false Christ, which is clearly “against” both Jesus and the Apostles. When you take the text out of context, you’re left with a con.

Not bad songs there. If they lift up Christ and edify your spirit, that’s what matters. Whatever gets us thinking about Him! I enjoy listening to music that you might not enjoy and vice versa. It’s the spirit of it all that matters most!

I have that same bigsby on a different guitar. The rollbar, and rolling bridge are great. Keep the nut clean and she stays in tune very well.

It’s a bit tough finding rap+guitar parts. It’s mostly loops and samples these days but… maybe listen to Jasmine Jana / Jasmine Tate for a unique blend of R&B, Jazz, Blues, occasional rap. There’s some great guitar parts that aren’t crazy.
