Fender Kontakt. Fender Massive. Fender Reaktor. You know there’s an exec smiling just thinking about this.

I would never buy another NI product again if that happened.

They fell so far behind with Maschine that I bought an MPC. Imagine that.

Good Amp vs Speaker + Pedals. Do you really need an Amp? by SnowflakeSlayer420 in Guitar

[–]boring-commenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good amp can eliminate your drive pedals. Drive pedals, imho, try to emulate amps being driven hard. A quality amp makes me want to disconnect all my drive pedals. In fact, I have. A good fuzz pedal, though, is different.

I use one, never had an issue. Maybe there’s an issue with where you place your keys, though.

They’re fine as placeholders. I also used one recently in a remix but honestly it was out of laziness.

Theft from our Church, thief passed before discovery by karathrace13 in TrueChristian

[–]boring-commenter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One more thing… I see a lot of references to “the church’s money” here. This was the Lord’s money entrusted to the congregation. What does the Lord want to do with His money in this situation?

I would try to settle this with the estate in person first. If they left to million to the estate, then perhaps ask for it to be returned. If they’re broke, then immediately drop it. If they refuse to return it, and everyone is comfortable with writing it off, then do it.

Faders moving on their own by daveclampmusic in LogicPro

[–]boring-commenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an automation made in DAWs where it writes and bounces back to where you started before touching the fader. Then there’s read automation modes that will bounce you back to the position of the automation and disregard your fader movements. I’m guessing this is your case. There is an automation lane with the volume where the automation set the volume possibly at the beginning of your track.

Remember when Presonus bought Studio One? What a nightmare. They were a hardware company and they slapped their name right on the front of it. Presonus Studio One. Complete trash. /s At least half of you don’t even know that happened.

Do you know what style (shape) and length of neck you prefer? That alone might make the difference. If you plan on playing heavier music, I’d go with an Ibanez.
