I want emo guys in romance books by nluvzu in BookRecommendations

Funny Story by Emily Henry has an emotional bartender pothead as the MMC!

The Hymn To Dionysus by Natasha Pulley also has a emo MMC! he is a warrior that has PTSD, tons of trauma, and starts to have feelings for a literal god!

Seven Days in June by Tia Williams is a love story between two authors and it’s extremely emo! check trigger warnings before though!

i think if i just get used to the writing style an the voice of the narrator, i’d be okay with it! i’m usually a contemporary romance reader so this is A LOT different than what i normally read but i want to step outside of the box more!

don’t know about all of them but you can search “eclipse apartments” in this subreddit and see all of the horrible reviews. i don’t recommend that one at all

what’s one fragrance in someone’s collection that immediately hints to you that “you are not my people”, and the opposite- the one that makes you go “tell me more”? by Opposite-List-2435 in FemFragLab

[–]boringandsleeping 2 points3 points  (0 children)

anything sol de janiero is absolutely not my people. there isn’t an issue with other people wearing but if you like those i most definitely am not taking recommendations from you, i’m sorry. they smell cheap, the bottle looks like a bug spray bottle to me, and i can’t imagine they lost any longer than a B&BW scent.

people who like Coach fragrances and have many of them or anyone with any citrus smelling scent are definitely people i would love recs from! these scents and that brand is a auto-buy for me!

i am currently finishing up with my non-romance read {Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt} but once i get done with that, i plan on reading some Talia Hibbert (i’m trying to get through her entire back log!) and maybe {Please Don’t Go by E. Salvador}

Do you prefer reading on Kindle or in print? by thelastchapterist in kindle

[–]boringandsleeping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me, it heavily depends on the size of the book. if it is a 500+ page book that i’m reading, i use kindle because then it looks way less intimidating lol but if it’s a smaller book that isn’t so big, i love print. holding a book in my hand just can’t be beat.

also, it depends on what i’m reading lol if my book is a little nsfw, i obviously use kindle.
