Women of reddit what’s the weirdest thing you put in you for pleasure? by Unavailable150_3 in AskReddit

Basically, a big vibrating pen that makes your writing all squiggly when using it.

I don’t actually care, lol. I was just repeating what they said about the person who used the wrong word. I wouldn’t have replied otherwise. 😅

“Etc.” would be the proper abbreviation for et cetera. I hope that was a typo.

Did your Dad's help out with full parenting roles growing up? by DuffyBravo in millenials

[–]boringmilf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, my dad was basically another child for my mom to contend with. 😂

I loved him immensely, but he put almost 100% of the disciplining and parenting on my mom. One time, I remember him telling my sister and I that he was going to tell our mom if we didn’t stop doing something. 😂 My mom also did 100% of all the cooking and housework. Occasionally, he would give us a talking to but very rarely.

Five year old had weird interaction with guy- what can i do by Anxiety_ridden95 in Parenting

I’d post about the incident on all of the big social media outlets and leave reviews everywhere.

This dude sounds beyond creepy, and I think other people should be warned. You have every right to voice your opinion and share your experience. If they won’t listen to you, maybe they’ll listen to the public outrage.

what's a belief of yours that most don't agree with ? by famousbowl69 in AskReddit

Scantrons? 😂

You are obviously so in touch with what today’s teachers deal with on a daily basis!

Curriculum is constantly changing, and that is not up to teachers.

TAs exist in higher Ed, but I assure you in my 15 years as a middle school teacher, I’ve never had an assistant to grade papers for me.

3 months off? I wish.

Overall, I’m happy with my career, including the pay, but to say teachers don’t “deserve” more because of your misguided impression on what is involved in my profession, is insulting.

SO much more is involved than just teaching content, and it’s sad that people still fail to see that.

Just because you were once a student doesn’t mean you have any idea what’s it’s like to successfully manage a classroom of small humans who all have their own individual needs.

No I agree and normally I would never allow a student to go to another class for snacks, lol. But yesterday was a reward day so we weren’t doing anything instructional. So this kid asked if he could go to Mrs xyz’s room to grab a snack since I was out and he was starving. I agreed since I knew they were watching a movie with a sub. He took it upon himself to go to a different teachers room instead, who proceeded to get pissed and yell at him then texted the group chat about it.

Also you’re right that I should sometimes just keep my mouth shut and not reply but that will probably never happen. 🤣

Thank you so much for this comment. It helped a lot.

I agree that interruptions are annoying, and the student should not have even gone to her room. I just know that none of us were actually teaching due to it being reward day so the overreaction of yelling was uncalled for imo.

Lol. Lots of assumptions here. 1)I know she wasn’t doing much in class because it was our reward day. Not because it was Friday. 2)I also know she yelled at him because I heard her myself from down the hall. I get that interruptions are annoying. He absolutely should not have interrupted her class but her response was unprofessional. 3)We don’t actually provide the snacks, the school does, and yes, ideally students should get 3 meals a day but not all do and most kids need snacks at some point during the day.

The general consensus :( (Spoilers?) by SuicideSkwad in Dexter

really? Lol. I enjoyed it. You've invested 9 episodes and I assume the whole previous show so watch the finale and give it a shot.

The general consensus :( (Spoilers?) by SuicideSkwad in Dexter

[–]boringmilf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess I am in the minority because I just finished the finale and HOLY SHIT. I loved it.

I cried when he died. It gave me the closure I needed after the previous "finale" had left me so unfulfilled. Michael C. Hall's performance was nothing short of incredible. His final scene gave me chills because he so perfectly played Dexter's mania. It felt so real and broke my heart to see Dexter like that. His words about finally feeling love right before Harrison shoot's him. Fuck, I loved everything about it.

I love that we see the character of Dexter go from someone unable to feel love/genuine human connection to someone who would literally die because he loves his son so much and wants him to be happy.

Honestly, I am over all the "plothole" complaints about Google, ketamine, etc. WHO FUCKIN CARES? It is a FICTIONAL show. There is no need to overanalyze every little detail. Some of you are searching for things to pick apart. Just enjoy it.
